There is noise from various quarters that the May budget will contain some changes relating to Superannuation especially surrounding the scope to make contributions.

Changes announced in the budget are almost always effective immediately.

This is pure speculation at this stage but if you were contemplating making a contributions of

up to $150,000 non concessional (undeducted) or
a $450,000 non concessional 'bring forward' or
a $50,000 concessional (deductible) or
$100,000 concessional if you are over age 50

then acting before budget day might be a sensible move.

What's new?

New Look for BKO

It feels like it’s taken an eternity but we are pleased to announce that our office renovations are complete and we now have a much more efficient working environment. It’s been a tumultuous time for the BKO team whilst work has been underway and we would like to extend a warm thank you to all team members for their support, help and patience.

We would also like to thank those clients, who saw the disruption first hand, for their understanding. We look forward to ‘showing off’ our new look to you all in due course.

Ann Lines - 10 Year Milestone!

During the month we marked Ann’s 10 year anniversary as Manager of BKO Insurance Services. Ann is our longest serving team member and is to be congratulated for her dedication and commitment to client service throughout the past decade. Well done Ann!
